JUNO

For Dutch design label Eyye – where Marike was also a part of the spin-off team to define the concept of the brand – she was asked to design a chair.

The metal frame determines the line of the chair. It gives the design its own character: its sloping line continues into the seat shell, which makes the armchair inviting. This effect is enhanced by the fact that the frame is brushed, which looks softer. The seat is beautifully upholstered – with just the right curve and the right number of stitching seams. This shows Eyye’s craftsmanship. The result is refined, friendly and comfortable.
